Two houses in a row now with political signs from the 92 election, first Perot and this time Bush/Quayle, and both in the same area of town. If I continued by house hunting journey this day would I have found a Clinton poster? Perhaps. This is a very diverse area of town, a true melting pot.
Despite the hoarding situation going on inside, pretty nice opportunity here. This house has a galley kitchen, which most people aren’t fond of these days and a few odd rooms, nothing a few demoed walls wouldn’t take care of, however, plenty of room to work with.
Basement is dry, despite the power turned off and no sump pump working. Why banks and sellers shut off power with the amount of rain we get here in KC in the Spring and Summer shocks me. You’re just asking for water damage and an instant reduction in the sell price. I see this often.
When we buy houses, the first thing you see when you pull up and the first thing I look at is the driveway. If the driveway is cracked up it’ll tell me quite a bit about what to expect on the inside of the house. This house was built and the 50s and the driveway is pristine.
